[Jitbit] Resizing Browsers in Balsamiq Mockups

Here is a demo for iherndon in the Jitbit Forums

I am not sure how to determine resizing of a window, so here is my example.

[Bug] Double clicking a text control...

Taken from the following post on Getsatisfaction

I noticed that text controls have been a little buggy, most notably is the loss of focus when editing a text control, such as the label and Title controls.

[Site Update] Overview of new Balsamiq Mockups features

Hey Balsamiq Team,

I just saw your blog post describing all of the changes that you have made and the fixes, but what caught my eye is the support page.  I have to say that I absolutely love the support page.

Reason Getsatisfaction integration

You have integrated Getsatisfaction content into a central location, which will allow users to search without logging in to Getsatisfaction.

Benefits

  1. Easier searching for problems and ideas
  2. There is a bug with CNAME'd communities and you have provided a robust workaround.
  3. Built-in search suggestions will minimize the time to find a particular post
  4. Categorized columns have eliminated the need to navigate through numerous pages
  5. Much much more, there are too many things to name, but they are awesome

Thanks so much.  As always, I will provide you with feedback on your new release.  Thanks again for allowing me to use this product and learn how to make work fun.

Happy Designing

[Program Layout]Antivirus-Threat Detected - Based on Microsoft Security Essentials

I was curious what it would be like to have placeholders instead of specific information in my mockups.  I found out that it makes my task of designing much quicker and more effective.  The main benefits of doing it this way are as follows:

  1. Eliminating the need for specific information, which makes the mockup more universal
  2. Providing a mini database of controls, that can be exported into Excel, and referenced in Word (Paste mini database along with the mockup bmml excluding the database and find and replace where the placeholders are)
  3. Less data and memory used for template (The initial mockup has shorter names on controls and renders faster)
These are only a few of the benefits, but I am certain that you can find others.
P.S. Sorry it isn't setup for symbols yet, but I hope you like it nonetheless.
P.P.S. That goes for you too Balsamiq Team

As always, if you have questions or comments, just comment my posts.
Thanks
Jon Edlund

[Symbols] Low Fi Phone Mockup

Update:  I am starting to make more simple mockups, due to some advice from the higher ups of mockups.  Here is a little taste of the Rumor 2 mockup as low fi.

[Angry Birds] Angry Birds Mockups, not much to say

Didn't the subject already state that there wasn't much to say.  Well, it is true, Angry Birds needs no introduction.
I will mention, however, that the (MS) before the actual name stands for Milestone.  I like to put that when I have made drastic changes, or it is stable enough to post.

Attached are the versions of the mockup as images, the final mockup source and a little treat.

[Games] Nintendo Category added

I have added a Nintendo category for all mockups Nintendo.  I was actually inspired to do this when I was creating the Green pig head for the Angry Birds Fan Art mockup I was working on.

I have the file hierarchy set up for what will go here and it will be updated regularly.  Here is a little taste of what is to come

I tried to put an Excel Spreadsheet in this post, but it won't work, so here is the link https://skydrive.live.com/view.aspx/Mockups%20in%20Excel/Mockup%20Folder%20Hi...

[Mockup] Ipod Touch 4th Generation overlay (New)

Ok, so this really isn't new, because I created it a long time ago.  I did, however, create a landscape version of it today and I am unveiling it to you in all of its glory.  As always, I hope you like it and feedback is appreciated.
